Dave earned his Bachelor’s degree in Business Management from Thomas College in 1987 and is a 1998 graduate of the National School of Banking. Prior to joining Maine Savings in 2007 he spent seven years as President and CEO at Casco Federal Credit Union during which time he served as a Director, Treasurer, and Chairman of the Board of CUSO Mortgage Corp., and as a Director of the Maine Credit Union League & Synergent Corp. Prior to joining Casco FCU in 2000 Dave spent 17 years working in various retail positions with regional and national commercial banks.
As the Chief Financial Officer at Maine Savings, Dave is responsible for maintaining the credit union’s financial operations, oversight of budgeting and forecasting, and management of the credit union’s investment portfolio. He chairs the credit union’s Asset Liability Management committee, serves as a resource to the CEO in determining both long-term and short-term goals for the credit union, and is an active member of its senior leadership team. Activities include working with examiners and auditors to ensure all activities are in compliance with established legal, regulatory, and credit union procedures.
