Hancock County Habitat for Humanity is pleased to announce that they are recipients of a

$10,000 grant offered through Versant as part of their 100th Anniversary Celebration.  Versant offered $100,000 in highly competitive grant funds to 10 non-profits. Over 200 non-profits applied and Hancock County Habitat for Humanity’s application was chosen by a team of Versant employees. This grant will support the organization’s Aging in Place Housing Plus program which is staffed by the Hancock County Repair Corps.

The Hancock County Repair Corps is a group of volunteers who work under the supervision of a paid contractor, completing safety and accessibility based modifications to the homes of older adults as part of Habitat’s Aging in Place Housing Plus program.

If you are interested in becoming a part of the Repair Corps please contact Habitat at director.hchh@gmail.com or go to the website at www.hancockcountyhabitat.org and fill out a volunteer application. Join our volunteer orientation on November 9 from 10-11:30 at 21 School House Road in Orland.
