I know you have heard about our partner, Sonya, and the challenges she has overcome to be a home owner. Having lost a son to cancer and recently becoming disabled herself, Sonya needs the ray of hope this home will provide. Designed by Board President, Michael Sealander, this simple, energy efficient home will be the first in our Pine Ridge Subdivision. We envision 4 homes total on this piece of donated land.

We build homes...

Last year we did site work and septic design for this home and constructed the road going into the properties. The cost of bringing in electrical service alone has been over $30,000, which isn't aff ordable for one or two homes but when we look at 4 homes dividing that cost, it seems more reasonable. However, it will take this small affiliate some time to construct all these homes and we have to pay the electrician fi rst. The cost of materials and labor for trades people have both increased by a third since the pandemic. Your generous donations helped us to move forward with the infrastructure on this worthwhile project!

Our Groundbreaking on Saturday was a success! Building begins in earnest in the spring. Want to help? We need you!!
