Machias Savings Bank Awards $5,000 Grant

December 2013 – Hancock County Habitat for Humanity is pleased to announce that it is a recipient of a generous $5,000 grant to provide building materials for our new home construction as part of MSB’s 9th Annual Community Development Grant awards. Recipients were selected based on their ability to leverage funds for projects or services which: create or retain jobs, revitalize communities within our service area, and/or help to provide affordable housing or other programs designed to assist low-to-moderate income individuals and/or families.
