WINTER HOURS:

Please Note: January-March we’ll be closed on Wednesdays (to save on winter heating costs); open Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays during our normal hours of 9:30a.m. to 4p.m.  We’ll resume our Wednesday-Saturday schedule come April.

Inclement Weather Policy: For the safety of our ReStore customers, staff and volunteers, the store will be closed or have a delayed opening based on what the local Ellsworth school system is doing. Do you need building materials, furniture, appliance or other housewares?  Are you renovating and would like to make a donation?  The Habitat for Humanity ReStore is open to the public and might have what you are looking for.  We can even arrange to come pick up your donated goods!  (Scroll to the bottom of the page to find our contact form to make an inquiry about a donation or purchase.)

PricingPrices are non-negotiable.  We make every effort to ensure that pricing is fair and consistent before merchandise is tagged.  Age, wear, quality, and quantity are all factors used in determining pricing.  Items are already priced to sell at 30-70%off retail. Proceeds benefit our home-building mission. Intermittent mark-downs are made at regularly scheduled intervals—60 & 90 days—on most items.  We reserve the right to hold prices on new and like-new items, hardware, etc.

Limited (7-day) Hold Time for Larger, Purchased ItemsDon’t pass up a good deal, just because you can’t bring it home right away! The ReStore will hold larger item(s) for up to (7) seven business days after an item is purchased (or through 2 Saturdays) so you can make transportation arrangements.

The ReStore has very limited storage space, so we reserve the right to return items to the floor if items are not picked up within our stated policy limits.  A refund check, store credit, or a donation receipt for the value of the item will be issued at the Manager’s discretion.

  • The ReStore is not responsible for any damage that may occur during storage, loading, or transportation of your item.
  • While the ReStore is happy to schedule donation pick-ups, its policy is not to make delivery of any purchased items.

30 Day Appliance Return PolicyWe try to test all appliances, but occasionally there are things that we can’t test. If an appliance DOES NOT WORK/is defective, it may be returned within 30 business days from date of purchase for a full refund or store credit. By defective we mean does not work as intended by the manufacturer; returns for any other reason (e.g.  does not fit, wrong size, wrong color, etc.) will not be accepted. Customer must return the item with the original receipt to qualify for a refund.

Tax CreditDidn’t work out for you?  Consider donating your purchase back to the ReStore.  As a donor you will receive a tax deductible donation receipt.

Loading/Heavy Lifting—Please bring help.  We love our ReStore staff and volunteers and don’t want to break them!  Customers should bring their own help for loading item(s) into their car if the items are over 50lbs., are glass, or are awkward in size and/or shape.
