(1) RESTORE SALES & DONATION ASSISTANT - Retail position requires a cooperative work ethic, self-motivation, ability to handle changing priorities, reliability, accuracy, & an outgoing personality. Responsibilities include sales/cashiering, customer service, donation screening, setting up showroom displays (lifting required), & volunteer supervision. P/T, 2 or 3 day workweek from 9:15a.m.-4:15p.m.; Saturdays required. $10.75-hr. to start; $1 additional seasonal differential during summer & prorated PTO.  Click here for a full job description.

(2) RESTORE DONATION PICKUP ASSISTANTS/DRIVERS – Works as a two-person team to pick up donations throughout Hancock Co. utilizing a rental truck; unloads items & sets up showroom displays in our ReStore. Requires a cooperative work ethic, reliability, and excellent customer service & communication skills. Must be able to lift 50-80lbs. safely. Clean driving record & valid Maine driver’s license.  P/T, 1 day per week (approx. 6-hour). $10.75-hr. to start; $1 additional seasonal differential during summer & prorated PTO. Click here for a full job description. (1) CONSTRUCTION MANAGER - Must have 5-years min. professional construction & supervisory experience and hold OSHA certification(s) or be willing to attend training(s). Follow the current IRC code and oversee all aspects of Hancock Co. Habitat’s construction process in a way that maximizes volunteer labor and materials to produce quality, accessible, energy-efficient homes in a safe, affordable manner.  Oversee an average of 1 new residential construction project each year [potentially w/ some additional home rehab. projects as time & resources allow]. Candidate should be able to communicate well with people of all backgrounds–training and motivating both skilled and unskilled volunteers in construction tasks–and be able to articulate Habitat’s mission to volunteers and donors. Position may either be filled by a P/T employee or an eligible independent contractor.  PT, generally one weekday [some flexibility] plus Saturdays [required].
