Habitat County Habitat for Humanity is a well-respected nonprofit which has continued to serve the community since its founding in 1989. We have been able to do so through the generosity of numerous individuals, faith groups, businesses, and foundations, as well as through proceeds from the Habitat ReStore and monthly mortgage payments from our Habitat homeowners.
We are committed to keeping overhead costs to a minimum and to maximizing our donors’ contributions. We have one full-time employee (our Executive Director) and four additional part-time employees who assist with ReStore operations. All other work is performed by our dedicated volunteers. Operating costs are defrayed by our ReStore with additional funds earned going to our home building efforts.
We endeavor to be the best possible stewards of the outstanding financial commitments made by our donors and partners to accomplish our mission. The links below (click on the icons) have been provided in the interest of transparency. We also welcome your questions knowing that making a donation—at any level—can be a complex and difficult decision.
We are excited to launch new naming, promotional and team-building opportunities for corporate and community group donors from 1/3-off donations all the way up to whole-house sponsorship contributions. Please consider partnering with us on our current project through a donation of in-kind goods or materials. For a list of how we promote our partners, including at our ReStore which has annual foot traffic of over 8,000, please click here.
